Hot Meals Around The Corner
Although Christmas time is inherently thought of as a period of luxury and joy, not everyone
is fortunate enough to experience those comforts. A recent study conducted by the United
States Department of Housing and Urban Development has revealed that an estimated 5,258
citizens are experiencing some form of homelessness.
A warm place to rest and a full stomach could mean the world to someone, but places to
get it aren’t always well known. The following establishments are not only open to the public
on December 25, but also places to volunteer if someone was interested in giving back to the
community this season.
