Homecoming Parade
The Homecoming Parade is a Mooresville tradition to celebrate Homecoming with the entire town. It gives the students that are nominated for homecoming court a chance to be celebrated for running for prince and princess or king and queen. Students are able to show off their floats that they signed up to help build.
One float that was in the parade had the class of 72 who came back to flip the coin at the homecoming game and take part in Mooresville schools homecoming traditions.
Some students featured in the parade were the Mooresville Dance Team. Kate Oberle, a Mooresville senior that was in the parade, was running for Homecoming queen! One of the pictures below features the GSA and drama club walking in the parade as well. The Mooresville cheer team followed a decade long tradition and got to ride on a fire truck for the homecoming parade! FFA got to walk in the parade with their float that said, “I believe in the future of agriculture.”
