Popular Fall Foods, According to MHS
As the fall season approaches rapidly new foods begin to come in season. No longer are the popular party foods burgers, hotdogs, chips, and other American summer foods. Now is the season for roasted turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, and many more, see what MHS students say are their favorite fall foods.
“Pumpkin Cheesecake, I've loved it since my mom first bought it for me when I was a kid. It's been a tradition ever since. We only eat it on Halloween though.” Faith Cordle said. Desserts are an essential staple of fall foods that come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, but many MHS had similar favorite fall desserts, such as pumpkin pie, apple pie, caramel apples, and other apple desserts.
“My favorite fall food is probably chili because when it's cold outside it warms you up.” Jacop Raines said. Dinner foods are also a very important thing of fall because many dinner foods can be seen across different dinner tables on Thanksgiving and also just for dinner on a cold fall or winter evening.
“Caramel Apples. As a snack they give the sweet flavor of caramel with the flavor of an apple that makes the perfect snack, in my opinion.” Matthew Hochstetler said. A good snack is always appreciated year-round, but a caramel apple is always good especially in the fall season, when they’re most popular and are fresh from the harvest.
